The fun begins.....

Last Friday and Saturday were spent cleaning the new house and Monday we got to start painting.  I had some great helpers for the first part.....

But soon they left and it was up to Tim and I to finish the laundry room.  The pictures don't do it justice.  It is such a fun color of green.  It makes me happy everytime I see it.  I really love it.. You will all have to stop by to see it.  I can't wait till we do the bathroom.  I am super excited about the colors we chose.  The laundry room is the only room we have completed right now.  I will post more as they get finished.  If anyone is interested we are going to be having a painting party on Sept 18th and you are welcome to come and help:)

It really is a bright happy green but the lighting in the room isn't the best so it's making it look more avocado then it is.

While we were painting we had one of the neighbors stop by for a visit......

Yup, it's a peacock.  Soon 3 little kids came looking for it and were trying to shoo it back home with little sticks.  Soon after we saw a cop go by trying to help.
