Witches Night Out

This past weekend Mom, Kendra, Heather and I attended Witches Night out. My costume turned a little more punk than witch but I liked it:) We met up with Ellie and her mom there. It was lots of fun and laughter. Thanks mom for being a good sport and putting up with our teasing since Keri wasn't there:)

A couple of the witches got into a little disagreement but.......

All was soon well and they were back to being friends:)

Afterwards we went back to Provo where we were staying and stopped for dinner. It wasn't until we were walking in that I noticed I was the only one really still in costume. The others had taken off most of theirs. Oh well, the worker at Taco Time got a kick out it.

Angels Landing

Many many many years ago my good friend Sala and I decided we were going to hike Angel Landing. We hiked and hiked and finally made it to the "top". We looked around and thought this is pretty but it wasn't even scary. What were people talking about? There was no chain part. So we hiked back down and then found out that we had not made it all the way to the top! We had only gone to the scout lookout. WHAT!!! Ever since then I have been wanting to make it to the top of Angels Landing. Two weeks ago, Kade called up and asked if I wanted to go. I almost said no but I did it. Tim came along with us and it was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend it! We are getting a group together to go in October so if anyone is interested come along!

Sala you and I need to do this again once you have that cute new little girl.

The pictures are not an any order but enjoy!

Tim and I posing for the camera.

One of the new friends we met on the hike

After the hike Tim and Kade decided to play in the river. I was toooooo tired so I just sat on a rock.

Tim and the kids we were racing down.

Another one of our poses:) Look how amazing this hike is!

Tim and I with our new friend from Okalahoma. I tell you, you make a lot of new friends when you are out hiking. Everone is so nice and friendly.

Kade going down. This wasn't as scary as I had pictured in my mind

The dreaded Walter's Wiggles.......

We are almost there!!!! The top of this cliff is Angels Landing

Tim and I at the scout lookout. This is the point that Sala and I turned back:)

Tim and Kade going to "explore" something they just found:)

Kade's turn to pose

So nice of the boys to take a picture of me:) NOT!

One of the views. It was so pretty!

The first of the hike as we are waiting for our shuttle to take us to the grotto.

Happy Happy Birthday To My Sista's!

I want to wish my two bestest sisters HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I love you guys so much and I am extremely grateful for both of you! You both have always been there for me through everything. You guys listen to me vent, you offer me encouragement, I always feel welcome around you (even when you say that you are going to bed and I should lock the door when I leave) and I always feel your love for me. I love and appreciate you both more than I will ever be able to express. You are the best sisters a girl could ever wish for and you are so super lucky cause you have me for your younger sister:) Happy Birthday!

5 things about Keri that I admire.....
1. She is an amazing sister! She has and is always there for me no matter what.
2. She is a wonderful mother and wife
3. She is super creative and talented. It's always fun to see what new things she has come up with
4. She is always thinking of others and doing little things for them.
5. She puts up with the family teasing her constantly. She is a great sport!

5 things about Kendra I admire.......
1. She is an Amazing Sister! She is always there for me no matter what.
2. She is a wonderful mother and wife.
***Okay, I know I said the same things for Keri but they true for both sisters. I couldn't ask for better sisters.***
3. She is very organized. I wish I could be more like that.
4. She isn't afraid to do things on her own. She is very independent and doesn't let little things stop her from doing what she wants.
5. She is sensitive to the needs of those around her.
Both of my sisters are an inspiration to me and I strive to be more like them. They are truly amazing! The things listed above are just a few of their many strengths that I admire.

July Re-cap

Here is a little re-cap with what has been going on with me for July....It's not all of it but it's what I have picutes of and remember:)

All the nieces and nephews love coming to my room to find different "treasures" okay it's not just the nieces and nephews it also mom, the sisters and the sis-in-laws:) Here is Addy and Deacon with the necklaces I gave them from Hawaii. They were my best fiends for a little bit, until I kicked out of my room:)

We had a talent show for YW's one night. These girls did a lip sync.
The beehives and miamaids did an upside down lip sync to "Who let the cows out"
One weekend Tim and I along with two of Keri's kids went out to Kendra and Sam's. Tim went to work and I went to visit:) Here are the little girls playing. I love Andy's face:)

While we were out at Kendra's I shared a room with Addy. This is what I woke up to. She makes me laugh

Kendra and I made watches while I was there. Here a a few of the ones we made.

In July we also had girls camp. For one of the games the girls were divided into teams and given a list of things they need to make out of nature. Here are our two teams and the results.

We toured the Pine Valley church while we were there. Here is all of our girls that attended camp.

Over the Fourth Of July weekend I went with Tim down to Big Bear, CA to meet the family and to enjoy the holiday. We went to the lake to watch the fireworks and Tim was kind enough to wear the "special" glasses I got him. Don't we look good:)

Last week I finally deciede I was ready to do it:) I called Ellie up and she was game for it too! I went with Becky to the Beauty Supply store to pick out the "right" color....Here are the results.....
Ellie and I just before Ellie hair got started.

And here are the peekaboo's....I love it! Thanks Becky! I didn't get a finished shot of Ellie since she had to put Deacon to bed while I was still processing but I will get one of her later:)

Hawaii **Picture Overload!!!***

Plane ride drinks***no worries it's just sprite***

Airport meals (We spent most of our first day either on a plane or in the airport)

After 21 hours of travel we are finally here!!!

When we first started our journey...look how fresh we look compared to the picture above and below this one:)

Finally in Hawaii!!!!

When we got to the resort we were staying out we were met by Chief Pap...... I don't remember his name:) We later ran into him at Taco Bell and ate dinner with him:)

Kinzie, Me, and Rachel after we were offically "lei'd"

We spent Saturday at the local swap meet and then the beach before picking up Gary and Eileen. This is us in front of our rental car at the swap meet.

Self portrait going into the swap meet. Jordan and Rachel are behind me. I took a lot of self portraits:)

Sunrise off of our balcony. Since Hawaii is 4 hours behind us we were up every morning by 6. It was wonderful to watch the sunrise every morning and to be thankful for all our blessings. What a wonderful world we live in.

As many of you know I love to try and jump and click my heels:) This was me getting ready for the jump and Rachel got the picture. You better watch out for my ninja skills:)

Running into the ocean with kinzie and Jordan. As many of you know the ocean seriously freaks me out. I conquered one of my fears and swam in the ocean and it was amazing. It was super warm! I just wont go scuba diving or snorkeling because I don't want to know what is swimming with me.

Kinzie, Me, and Rachel at our first beach

I had a lot of fun with the waves. However not so much fun with all the sand in my swimsuit after the ocean.

I love this picture! I laugh everytime I look at it. I was totally knocked down by a wave! So much fun!

On our way to church

After church Kinzie, Rachel and I went to find some places to take pictures. I dont like to just stand and have my picture taken so I am always doing stupid poses. Makes things a little more interesting:)

One of the days we were laying out and Rachel came with us fully dressed:) I had to have Jordan take a picture cause it was just too funny! I love Rachel, she is such a good sport and is so fun to be around!

Amazing Sunset!

Once again, getting ready to try out my heel click:)
